Postpartum Support
The postpartum window is tender and transformative — a season where everything feels new, raw, and real. Overnight support gives you space to rest and recover while your baby is cared for with intention, gentleness, and deep intuition. This isn’t just nighttime help; it’s emotional grounding, newborn care, and steady support woven into the quiet hours when families need it most.

Doula
A Doula is a person who assist you before during and shortly after childbirth. Doula's aren't medical professionals, so anyone CAN be a one at anytime! As a matter of fact, if you have ever lived with someone who has had a baby and helped the care of them, then you can also seldomly claim the prestigious title as a Doula Congratulations!☺ But, I am a trained and certified PROFESSIONAL Doula, who cares for the emotional, physical, and informational needs of a family during pregnancy, birth, and the postpartum season. We don’t replace partners or providers - we bridge them.
I am
The steady presence in the room, The calm voice, the grounding hands, the person who sees the whole picture when everything feels new, overwhelming, or tender.
I supports the human side of birth and early parenthood.
The feelings, the fears, identity shifts, the healing/bonding, the learning, and the quiet moments no one else notices.
I help families feel held, informed, confident in the process.
At its core, doula work is the art of caring for the caregiver, nurturing the nurturer, and making sure every family feels supported and seen.

Born with this in my hands...
In Black American communities, care work has always lived in the hands of women who carried more than their share. Long before there were titles like “doula” or “postpartum specialist,” families turned to the women who knew how to soothe a fever, settle a newborn, braid a child’s hair, pray over a home, or hold a mother through the hardest parts of becoming one.
These women weren’t just Nannies or “mammies”... that caricature in particular was created to distort and diminish them. In real life, they were the backbone of our communities: the aunties, the grandmothers, the neighbor women, the ones with the knowing hands and the steady presence. They were the keepers of herbal knowledge, the watchers of children, the midnight helpers, the ones who stepped in when systems failed us, because systems always did.
Their work was spiritual, intuitive, and often unpaid, yet it shaped generations. It was a lineage of care born from survival, resistance, and love — a tradition carried forward not through textbooks, but through memory, practice, and bone‑deep knowing.
When I show up for families today, I’m not just offering a service. I’m honoring that lineage. I’m continuing a tradition that was never given but held inside of us.
